Laura Les (b. Dec 2, 1994) formerly known as Onso1 is one of the most talented singers, songwriters, and producers in the United States of America and even the whole world, She is famous for being a part of “100 gecs” an electronic band with her bandmate, Dylan Brady.

In our previous post we talked about Bktherula who is leaving everybody in awe with her rap music, well today I’m taking you to a little bit of electronic music to move your body with the talented Laura Les.
Laura became well known in 2016 after releasing her first EP ” hello kitty skates to the fuckin CEMETARY” which was actually about dead bodies (her words not mine😂), The next year (2017), Les released another EP “I just don’t wanna name it anything with “beach” in the title”. Then she followed up in 2018 with another EP after dropping her alias “onso1” and started using her real name, the EP was named Big Summer Jams 2018.
Les’ EP Big Summer Jams 2018 received positive remarks from music critics, earning high praise for its vibrant and energetic sound. Vice described the EP as “debauched digital celebrations,” while Tiny Mix Tapes called it “a blender of fun.” The EP solidified Les’ reputation for creating music that’s both innovative and exhilarating.
In early 2021, Les contributed to a remix album of Katie Dey’s album Mydata, showcasing her talent for reimagining and transforming existing tracks. This collaboration highlighted her versatility and ability to adapt her unique style to different musical projects.
March 2021 marked a significant moment in Les’ solo career with the official release of her single “Haunted.” The track had previously garnered a positive reception from her fanbase after being played during a virtual DJ set in 2020. “Haunted” quickly became a fan favorite and was later featured in season 2 of the HBO series Euphoria, further cementing Les’ status as a rising star in the music industry.

Early Life and Background
Les is from St. Louis, Missouri. Her musical journey began in her teenage years when she developed an interest in music and started learning to play the guitar. This early passion laid the foundation for her future in the music industry.
While attending Columbia College in Chicago, Laura pursued a degree in acoustic engineering, a field that perfectly complemented her burgeoning musical talents. During her time at college, she began releasing music online under the moniker osno1.
Personal Life
Coming to her romantic life, well Laura just does it differently from the rest, She tied the knot with illustrator and cartoonist Gabe Howell on October 13th, 2017.
Les spent seven years in Chicago, from 2013 to 2020, where she not only developed her music career but also refined her artistic skills. Her time in the Windy City was a crucible of creativity and growth.
In 2020, seeking new opportunities and closer collaboration with her creative partner Brady, Laura and her husband Gabe Howell relocated to Los Angeles. By July 2023, Laura had embarked on a new adventure, settling in rural Colorado with her girlfriend, May Leitz.
