In a recent post, we talked about Florida rapper “TYTE” who is currently making waves in the music industry, but today I’m gonna take you to Florida to talk about another rap sensation turning up the heat in the rap scene “Woodboyy Gee”.
Woody is nothing but a natural on the mic with his authentic and deep style and soulful output, one of his best projects and also one of my personal favorites is his song “Better Days” where he shares a few of his struggles in his past life and also his hopes for good days in the coming future, I like that song because most of us can relate to what he says, we have all had it rough in the past right? trust me it will not be a waste of your time listening to this song;
Another one of his masterclasses is a song called “Symphony”, that you gotta just listen to here her delivers strong bars followed by soulful beats. He recently made a collab with California rapper “The Game” on their song “I Feel Like a Dopeboy” released on the 18th of June 2024. Early Life & Background
Woody grew up in St. Petersburg, FL, just like any other ambitious kid, his first dream was to become an athlete specifically in the NFL.
He was quite serious about becoming an athlete he even used to play as a cornerback for his high school and showed great potential.

He was lucky to earn himself a scholarship to D1 colleges but things didn’t work out as he expected, Most of the schools were looking for tall athletes and Woody was not that tall so he did not pass their requirements, he graduated high school in 2012 and decided to pursue a rap career.
